The fee is €15 per adult and €5 per child. Tour companies and guides are advised to contact us regarding group rates.

On the day of your demonstration, you can pay with cash or card; whichever suits you best.

  • Who or what age is the experience best suited to?

This is an experience for all ages; from tiny tots right up to 99 and over! We have had owners of large ranches and we have had folks who have never seen a sheep before – and all have thankfully loved their time on the farm with us!

  • How early should I arrive ahead of my pre-booked experience?

We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes ahead of your experience.

  • What happens if it is raining or windy?

We put Martin out into the field and keep everyone else cosy inside our spacious viewing gallery! No need to worry too much about the weather as we have a large, panoramic viewing gallery to protect against the elements.

  • What should I wear?

In Ireland, it is always advisable to dress for the four seasons! In spring and summer time, it is best to have some sunscreen and a rain coat with you. While in autumn and winter time, it is best to wrap up with some warm layers, a hat and hooded jacket. The paths are all finished in fine gravel or concrete so boots or wellingtons are not required.

  • What facilities are available on site?

There is ample car and coach parking available on site. Restrooms are on site also. Unfortunately, while the experience is accessible for those with mobility difficulties, our restrooms are not accessible by wheelchair.

  • Is the experience suitable for an individual with mobility difficulties?

Absolutely. The paths are all finished in fine gravel or concrete and can be travelled on easily with mobility aids and wheelchairs. While the experience is accessible for those with mobility difficulties, our restrooms are unfortunately not accessible by wheelchair.

  • I am not part of a group. Can I still book to attend a demonstration?

Absolutely. Please see our calendar of demonstrations to book your visit.

  • Can I bring my dog with me to the demonstration?

Unfortunately, we cannot allow dogs into the viewing shelter as there are usually some very protective mother sheep in there along with their baby lambs.
